North Dakota Tribal College Research Symposium
The 5th Annual ND Tribal College Research Symposium will be held April 7, 2017 at Cankdeska Cikana Community College. The Keynote Speaker, Michael Yellow Bird, PhD, will discuss his research in a presentation titled “Mindfulness, Neuroplasticity, and the Science of Traditional Indigeneous Contemplative Practices”. Additional talks by Stanley Atcitty, PhD of Sandia National Laboratories and Jeffrey A. Henderson, MD, MPH, will be followed by an afternoon undergraduate poster session.
